Chocolate Rice Krispies

4oz margarine (1 stick)
4oz sugar
4oz golden syrup
4 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp coffee granules
4-5 cups Rice Krispies


  1. Melt margarine, sugar, golden syrup, cocoa and coffee. Keep stirring to ensure it does not burn.⁠
  2. Take off heat and stir in the Rice Krispies.⁠

💡Tip – This recipe is very easy to double etc (and half, but why would anyone want to do that??).⁠ Its the same amount of ounces of margarine as sugar and golden syrup, and that amount of ounces in tablespoons of cocoa powder.
