Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 sticks margarine (8oz) – room temperature  
½ cup granulated sugar  
1 ¼ cups light brown sugar  
2 tsp vanilla sugar  
2 eggs – room temperature  
2 cups flour  
1 tsp baking powder  
1 bag (255g) chocolate chips  


Yield: 24 cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C⁣
  2. In an electric mixer beat the margarine and the sugars until creamy, about 2 minutes. Add the eggs. ⁣
  3. Gradually beat in the flour and baking powder. Then stir in the chocolate chips. ⁣
  4. Using an ice cream scoop or 2 spoons, drop the batter onto a lined cookie sheet far apart as they spread a lot.
  5. Bake on 180 C for 13 minutes.

💡 Add in some chilly for an extra kick of flavour. 💡 Add in a tbsp or 2 of sugar if you feel like the acidity of the tomato needs balancing out.
